Alicia is passionate about improving the lives of others through the application of evidence-based positive psychology and education. She has gained research and clinical experience across a range of educational, organisational, and health settings. Alicia has been responsible for facilitating stress-management programs with the NSW Police, assessing leadership, engagement, and performance across a range of organisations, and working with individuals and groups to improve mental health outcomes.
Alicia’s research interests broadly encompass the role of positive psychological factors such as mindfulness, optimism, hope, self-compassion, and growth mindsets in enhancing the well-being and performance of individuals, schools, organisations, and communities.
Alicia is currently employed by the Institute in Positive Psychology-Australian Catholic University as a research psychologist.
